    Ingredients

    - 2 eggs
    - 1/2 cup heavy cream or whole milk

    Instructions


    1. Make the Crust:
    In a food processor, combine the flour, salt, and seasoning mix. Add the cold cubed butter and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water, 1 tbsp at a time, and pulse until the dough comes together. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

    2. Prepare the Tart Shell:

    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to fit a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom. Press the dough into the pan, trimming any excess.     In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream (or milk), salt, and pepper.

    Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the pre-baked tart shell. Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese and grated Parmesan over the onions. Pour the custard mixture over the top.

    6. Bake:
    Place the tart in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is lightly golden.
