Sour Cream & Onion Salad Dressing
    (Makes ~1 cup)

    Ingredients:

     - ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
     - ¼ cup mayonnaise
     - 2 tbsp buttermilk (or regular milk/plant-based milk)
     - 2 tsp fresh lemon juice (or white wine vinegar)
     - 2–3 tsp F N Good Food Sour Cream & Onion seasoning (adjust to taste)
     - 1 tsp honey
     - Salt and pepper (to taste, optional)
     - Water (to thin, if needed)*

    Instructions:

     1. Combine Base Ingredients:- In a bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayo, buttermilk, lemon juice, and honey until smooth.

    2. Add Seasoning:- Stir in the F N Good Food Sour Cream & Onion seasoning. Start with 2 tsp, taste, and add more for extra flavour.

    3. Adjust Consistency:- If the dressing is too thick, add water 1 tsp at a time until it reaches your desired texture.

    4. Season to Taste:- Add salt and pepper only if needed (the seasoning mix already contains salt).

    5. Chill (Optional):- Let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld.

    Why This Works

The seasoning mixes savoury onion-garlic depth with the tangy sour cream and mayo base. The honey balances the acidity, while buttermilk adds a subtle tang. It’s a nostalgic nod to sour cream & onion chips but in a versatile, salad-friendly form!
