Chicken, Mushroom & Bacon Fettuccine Alfredo *(Serves 4)*

    Here's a flavourful recipe for Chicken Breast, Button Mushrooms, and Bacon Fettuccine Alfredo using F N Good Food Sour Cream & Onion seasoning.


    Ingredients

    - 8 oz fettuccine
    - 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced  
    - 6 oz bacon, chopped  
    - 8 oz button mushrooms, sliced  
    - 3 tbsp unsalted butter
    - 1 cup heavy cream
    - 3 tbsp, 2 tsp of F N Good Food Sour Cream & Onion seasoning (divided)
    - 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish, optional)  
     - Olive oil (if needed)  

    Instructions


    1. Cook the Bacon & Prep Chicken:
    - In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon; set aside. Leave 2 tbsp bacon fat in the pan.  
    - Season chicken with a tsp of  F N Good Food Sour Cream & Onion seasoning.  

    2. Cook Chicken & Mushrooms:
    - Sear chicken in bacon fat over medium-high heat until golden (3–4 mins per side). Remove and set aside.  
    - Add mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté until tender (5 mins). Season with a pinch of salt and 1 tsp F N Good Food Sour Cream & Onion seasoning. Remove and set aside.  

    3. Cook Pasta:
    - Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water; drain.  

    4. Make the Alfredo Sauce:
    - In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream (35%), F N Good Food Sour Cream & Onion seasoning. Whisk until smooth.  
    - Adjust thickness with pasta water if needed.  

    5. Assemble:
    - Toss pasta in the sauce. Add chicken, mushrooms, and bacon. Garnish with extra Parmesan and a sprinkle of dill.  

     Notes
    - Dried dill offers a fresh, herbal lift.  
    - Bacon fat infuses the dish with smoky depth.
